I've been guilty of buying kids gifts, before having my own, and not thinking much about what a mess it might be for the parents. :) So I guess I deserved this gift that Landon and Erin bought Olivia for Christmas... I don't mind messes really, but this one I had been avoiding since Christmas.  Tonight I caved... all I have to say is someday Landon and Erin will have kids, and I have a whole list of gifts I'm going to buy for my little nieces and nephews! :)

A few months behind :)

I spent naptime today getting pictures organized and copied to discs, and while doing this I found this picture. It was on my other camera and I had completely forgotten it.  Olivia has been asking if we can go back to our old house recently. And this weekend our old neighbors came over for a visit, so this is a fitting picture for the time.  We did love our old house, but of course we are happy to be in our new one as well!

Ben recieved a few new pair of PJs for Christmas, size 18 month.  Needless to say they are a bit large on him.  But you know he's becoming a good walker when he can get around the house like this! :)

Welcome 2011

A new year is among us and I'm so excited to see what it will bring!

Last night Adi came over for a visit for a little while and I guess they all got really thirsty at the same time. I walked into the kitchen to find them just like this :) Cute kids!

Ben's 1 year check up

Ben went for his 1 year check up today! His height is 29 1/2 in, and his weight is 20 lbs 8 oz. I still can't believe our little guy is a year old. He's such a sweet boy! We love you Benjamin!   

Christmas with my Mom's family!

We celebrated Christmas with my mom's side of the family on New Years Day.

Christmas with the Rich's

Since we had some sickies on Christmas Day we weren't able to make it to Nate's parent's or my Mom's house Christmas weekend. So Nate's parents came over another day and we exchanged gifts with them. We were so sad we missed Christmas with Nate's sister and her family. 

Ben's facial expressions were so funny when he watched Olivia open her gifts. He was so excited for her I suppose!

the Barn... haha someone made this for Nate's parents. They told him they wanted to be able to fit a tractor into it.  It fits a lot more than just a tractor! But the kids love it!
