Sweet Sibling conversation!

Olivia told me a sweet story this morning.

Last night Ben said, Livie, I'm scared. So I told him there was nothing to be scared of. Then he said that he had bad dreams. So I told him to do what I do, pray to God. So I prayed for us. But he still said he had bad dreams, so I just prayed for him. Then he said he still had bad dreams, so I told him maybe he should pray to God, so he did. Then I never heard a peep out of him! :)

Sweet hearing what kind of conversations these two are having already! 

I pray they always remind each other to pray and trust in God!

It's hot Don!

Today was just plain HOT. I know it's June, and it should be, but when you aren't use to it, it kind of stinks! Tonight after I cleaned out our little pool, I went around front to help Nate do something.  When I came back around I found the kids playing with the water hose. My first reaction was to tell them to put it up, but then I stopped and just let them do it! They had a GREAT time!  They were soaked!  The hose did get put up when Ben came after me :) 

Weekend getaway!

This past weekend we went to Carlyle IL to spend the weekend with Nate's sister and her family.  We had such a beautiful weekend with tons of fun! We wen to walk some trails at Carlyle Lake (until Ben had a freak out encounter with a spider web), we ate some yummy food. Ben said Aunt Traci makes really good cheese! haha  We went swimming in pretty chilly water, and relaxed while the kids enjoyed each other's company.  I really wish we could have more weekends like this one! (And I hate that I didn't get one picture of Bryson! He and Ben have so much fun together!)

she LOVED the water, once she got in... for a few minutes I didn't think we'd get her  to go in.

After a long day of play, these three were acting completely goofy! This picture captured their sillies!

Gymnastics!

Olivia started gymnastics this week!! She was a bit nervous that morning, but she quickly got excited once we got there!  I was able to watch her for a bit through a crack in the door.  I was amazing at how well she did, and loved seeing that beautiful smile on her face while she was doing everything! 

All ready for her first class!

If she doesn't make it as a gymnastics, she could probably make it as a cute little model! :)
