AWANA award night!

This year Olivia completed her second year in Cubbies, and Ben finished his second year in Puggles! Next year we will have a Cubbie and a Spark, and a whole lot of bible memorization happening in our house! So excited to have the kids involved with AWANA. What a wonderful thing for them to learn scripture this young!

Olivia getting her award for completing her book!

Very proud kids with their awards! They are growing up so quickly!

Meat Eater?

Living in a family where we eat meat for every meal, Ben often complains and eats the bare minimum at his meals.  Last night we had ribs and Ben wanted to try it.  I'm not sure if he liked the meat, or just thought it was fun to make a mess, but either way he devoured 2 ribs and loved every minute of it.

Health Ministry Fair

Our church put on a Heath fair this past weekend.  My friends Leigha and Sarah did such an amazing job putting it all together! I first thought I was going to be taking the kids by myself, but Nate surprised me when he called to say he was going to be back in time (from hunting) and that his parents were coming as well! We had a great afternoon!

Getting fit for new helmets. We have helmets but Olivia's is clearly to large for her, and Ben's was bought at a yard sale for a buck.  So we thought we'd have someone actually make sure they fit! The kids were very excited to get new (free) helmets!

Petting the K-9 dog.  He did some demonstrations with the dog and it was very fun!! We got to see him attack a man and see him obey his officer perfectly. Very cool how smart these dogs are!

Checking out the fire truck!

Future EMT?

Getting our balloon sword and flower :)

All the goodies we came home with! So thankful for our Health Ministry team! Great job!

Family Day!

Today we spent the day and Grandpa and Grandma Bevis' house! And what a beautiful day it was!! Aunt Sharon is here from Las Vegas so we were excited to visit with her as well! Of course we got to get our Hank lovin in while we were there as well.  It was such a great day!

Ben holding Hank all by himself. (He loved every second of this)

playing outside with Grandma

Landon should have been a pitcher for the Cardinals! :)

Teaching Ben to play baseball. Being a lefty and sometimes batting right handed I think baseball might be his sport!

Love the expression on Ben's face!

We were watching a fox in their back yard. Long after it had left Ben got the binoculars, looking through them backwards and said, oh yes I see him, there he is! haha such a funny little guy
