First day of FIRST GRADE!!

1st Grade?! When did that happen??? Our sweet Olivia is growing up so fast! This morning was a great morning. There were not near the nerves there were last year (from Olivia and mom!) and she was excited and in a great mood! I fixed cinnamon rolls for her special day and we were even ready early enough to take pictures and for me to cuddle with her for a bit before we left! We love you sweet girl!! And I know first grade will be a great year!!

I'm so happy I started this!! This will be so fun to see as she gets older.  Man what a difference 2 years makes!

First Fishing Trip!

The kids spent the weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Garrison on August 2nd.  They took them fishing in Grandma's Aunt and Uncle's pond.  They weren't expecting to really catch much but were hoping for them to catch a few.  Boy did they come home with some stories!! They caught about 20 fish in all! Each of them caught a big fish and Olivia caught a fish that was eaten by another fish! :) They had a great time and can't wait to go again!! 

Birthday Parties!

On July 19th the kids got to celebrate two of our dear friend's birthdays! First they had a great morning celebrating Madeleine's 3rd birthday at the Children's Museum.  There was a new exhibit since we had gone last and the kids had so much fun!! After that we headed to Adi's house for her 5th birthday party!! She had a HUGE (and yes i mean HUGE) inflatable water slide! My kids only got off to eat ice cream and watch her open gifts.  They loved it!! Such a fun day!!

Trip to the zoo!

We visit the zoo pretty often and the kids love it! Ben made a friend on this trip :) we sat and watched these silly monkies for a long time! It was a beautiful day!!
