Olivia's 2nd round of stitches

Poor Olivia... she must really enjoy getting stitches.  On april 29th she fell outside and cut her hand on something. We still aren't sure what cut it but it was pretty bad. It happened exactly 6 months to the day she cut her head open.  It landed her a trip to urgent care and 9 stitches.  She was  trooper though! This one was a bit more painful than her eyebrow. I could tell it was really hurting her.  You had seeing your kiddo in pain.  But she was so brave and aside from a  scar she's all better now! 

Sweet baby Austyn

Our sweet little Austyn was born in April. We got to see her the following week! The kids ate her up! They spent the whole day passing her back and forth.  She was such a good baby and we can't wait to see her again soon! Love you sweet girl!

Sweet Olivia

This morning I begged Olivia to let me fix her hair. She let me know that Ms. Simmons would be fixing it today.  Ms. Simmons often wears her hair with a "bump" and Olivia always wants her hair to look like hers.  Unfortunately I'm not capable, and even if i were she would complain when I was finished.  Well today I got this picture from her teacher.  Olivia and Serenity with their bumps to match Ms. Simmons. It's so wonderful being able to drop your child off each day with a teacher that she adores!  I hope she has this experience every year!

My mom's side of the family got together in February to celebrate my grandparents 60th anniversary.  While a bit dysfunctional at times (or a lot), we had a great day.  And some wonderful family pictures! 

Snow Day!!

We had a pretty big snow at the beginning of March.  The kids had a great time playing outside and making snow Ice Cream! (very tasty). 

3 generations of hunters

Nate has loved hunting since I've known him, and pretty sure way before that! Ben just started asking if he could go with daddy. So Nate and Grandpa took him out one morning.  He feel asleep in the blind and they didn't see one deer, but at least he can say he went! They may give it a few more years before he starts going more often!

Nate and I finally got Iphones.  And while I love it and it takes wonderful pictures! The pictures don't always find their way to my computer, which means they don't find their way to my blog. I'm jumbling up 4 months worth into a few posts so I can at least feel caught of (kind of).  I don't want to stop making my amazing blog books! They have been so much fun to look back on! So here are a few pictures. Olivia cheered in Upward this year! She loved it and had a blast! I had tons of fun coaching with two wonderful teenagers (who were really the coaches).  We celebrated my grandparents 60th anniversary, we went to see some fun movies (including Annie).  Ben styled a new do for a couple of months, and we are loving our sweet pre-kers at church! 

Catching up in April!

I'm saddened that it's APRIL and I haven't posted a thing yet! So much has gone on in 4 months so i'll try to catch up.  Obviously the dates will be wrong but i'll do my best to remember when they happened!

Easter with the Garrison's

We enjoyed a fun afternoon at my mom's house to visit for Easter. The kids had a small egg hunt and played outside! Hank and Ben drove the gator all over the place! love them!

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend is always so fun! We have a huge hunt at church and get to spend it with family and friends! So thankful for this weekend! So awesome knowing Jesus is alive and that we can celebrate Him freely!

We always have a fun time at the Rich family Egg Hunt! The adults get pretty violent and we all have a good laugh. Love this family!
