Grandma Garrison came to stay with us over Spring Break! We loved having her here! We made cookies, she fixed baby Lisa, and helped me complete some projects. Thanks for coming Grandma! We love you!
You'll notice the comical pictures of the flower sugar cookies we made. Pinterest made it look so easy! While they weren't real pretty, they still tasted yummy!
Baby Lisa was my doll as a kid. When Olivia first started liking dolls I gave her this one. It was so old and falling apart, but it quickly became her favorite. Lisa had to go everywhere with us! She's had surgery after surgery trying to keep her stuffing from falling out, until one day her leg fell completely off! Olivia was devastated. We rigged her up to where she could still hold her, but with only 1 leg she wasn't as much fun. Of course when Grandma came we thought she might be able to help (she's very good at figuring things out). And while she says she won't be going into the doll restoration business she did do a fabulous job and Baby Lisa is as good as new!! Olivia's day was made!!
My other project for mom while she was here, was to help me make flowers for my bare canvas' hanging on my wall. Nate said they looked like something from a condo in a city. That was his way of saying he hated them. But we took that as a compliment! I really love my new bedroom!
