Ben is saved!!

Ben is wise beyond his years... he really is one smart cookie! He has asked about being saved and baptized since Olivia made her decision last summer.  Each time we would ask him deeper questions he would say things like.. because I want to, because I love Jesus.

Well on Sunday night while being tucked into bed we began talking about Grandpa's and how my Grandpa Peek is in Heaven because he was saved! As the conversation ended and we were getting ready to say our prayers Ben looked at me and said "I was to do it! Right. Now."

I called Nate into the room and we talked to him for quite a while. He was so sincere with everything he said and we both knew that he was completely serious. He loves Jesus and he knew what He had done for him.  Something no one else could ever do! So we led him in a prayer and he asked Jesus to live in his heart. It was such an amazing moment!! Then he called Grandpa Rich to tell him the exciting news!

We found out later that night that Randy had been feeling like Ben was going to be saved soon. It was confirmation to all of us that this was real and Ben was all in!

Ben is such a sweet boy. We can't describe how much we truly love this kid! We are so thankful God placed him in our family for us to enjoy and love!

He is getting baptized on November 6th! Praise God!
