Easter weekend was filled with fun!! Saturday we had our big Easter hunt at church. It was a BEAUTIFUL day for it!! Although after the brutal winter, our skin was in shock when it was exposed to all of the sun and we all got a little color! :) Sunday morning we had breakfast with our 242 group. It was fun to see all of the kids together in their pretty outfits, playing and having fun!
Obviously with all the fun Easter brings, it also brings so much gratefulness. Jesus dying on the cross and doing something for us that we could never do for ourselves. He saved the world and rose from the dead on the 3rd day! What a joy to ask your kids why we celebrate Easter and their first response is "Because Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead!"
