Let it Snow!

It snowed!! YAY! It snowed a bit last year, but nothing that we could play in, and the year before that it snowed Christmas day. I remember this vividly because Nate and Ben were both sick, which made us home bound on Christmas Day.  Olivia and I played out in it for a bit, but Ben didn't get to.  So finally, at the age of 3 Ben played in the snow!

Since it was a blizzard out there, we brought the snow inside!

After Nap, when the snow died down and the blizzard warning was over, we ventured out.  It took us all of 10 minutes to get dressed and then we played outside for about 15 minutes.  Poor Ben's boots didn't fit him, and he didn't own anything warm.  So we had to rig something up for him.  And yes Sister's pink boots and pink gloves were part of that get up! (sorry buddy!)

Making a snow angel

As long as we stayed on the side of the house, where the wind was being blocked, we were ok.  There was a big snow drift the played in most of the time. 

This girl probably ate about a gallon of snow while we were out there!
